Contar los Carbohidratos

If you're trying to lose weight, reducing carb intake to a low level will jumpstart your body's fat burning mechanism. Attempting to follow a low carb diet without counting carbs is not nearly as effective as keeping an accurate daily count of carbohydrate intake. Carb Counter uses Stores to categorize meals and Categories to group together food types. The DB is setup to display Description, Quantity and Price on one line, Price is Net Carb Count. Carbs minus fiber is net carb count. As an example I choose: 1_Breakfast from the list of Stores, Dairy from the Category list in the All view, then select Egg, American Cheese, Half and Half cream for my coffee. Because coffee has only a trace amount of carbohydrate it's not listed in the DB. Many items that might be listed in a print version carb counter have been omitted for efficiency. Make adjustments as necessary. Through the day total your carbs to see how you're doing. At the end of the day copy the total to Memo Pad along with any notes, then checkout. You'll soon find yourself making adjustments based upon your totals such as, "skip the Endulge candy bars, switch to black coffee, whoa, cashews have 3 grams of carbs in 8 pieces!"
